Are you a moving broker?
No. Presto Logistics is a licensed interstate moving carrier (USDOT 1691575, MC-621224). Your move is handled by our own crews on our own trucks, from the first box to the last.
Where do you move?
Anywhere in the 48 contiguous states, door to door, plus anywhere within California. Our home base is Southern California, and we handle local moves across the San Fernando Valley, Ventura County and Los Angeles every week.
How do I get a price?
Fill out the quote form or call (800) 435-4035. We set up a free visual estimate, at your home or over a video call, and then send you a written quote.
Is the estimate really binding?
Yes. For long-distance moves, the visual estimate becomes a written, binding estimate for the items and services we reviewed together. For local moves, you get a binding hourly rate or flat rate in writing, so your price is locked in before moving day. If you add items or services later, we will price those with you before moving day.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can. Summer is the busiest season for movers, and the first and last days of every month fill up fast. If your date is flexible, a mid-month weekday gives you the most options.
Do you move pianos, pool tables and safes?
Yes. Pianos, pool tables, safes, hot tubs, gym equipment and art are moved with a plan, the right equipment and extra padding. See specialty items.
Can you help with my car?
Yes, we can help arrange the shipping of your car, truck or SUV. Just mention it when you ask for your quote.
Can you pack for me?
Yes. We can pack the whole home, just the kitchen and fragile items, or simply drop off boxes, tape, paper and bubble wrap so you can pack yourself.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Presto Logistics is registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT 1691575, MC-621224) and holds California household movers permit MTR0191887 from the Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS). You can look us up on the FMCSA website.
